I will give him a 9.9 for riding skills... but a perfect 10 for finding his way thru all those cones, I don't think I could have walked thru those cones an not got lost...

Great video[up]

WOW IMPRESSIVE, I *might* have been able to do that on my mountain bike.....

How the hell did he even remember the course lay out?? It's pretty complex!

~Mike...

That's crazy! On a 250 going half his speed, maybe just maybe I don't knock over any cones.

Yellow Wolf riding the Tail of the Dragon makes this cop look like a cop riding around some cones...
hit up youtube to see Yellow Wolf....

Piss on Yellow Wolf. He could probably smoke the cop (or you or me) on Deal's, but that low speed, tight stuff requires incredible skill, and unless YW has been trained, he's dropping that Wing in about the first U-turn circle. Google CHP motor competition.

its a hell of a lot easier to flip a bike around at 100 mph than at 10 mph.my money is on the cop.[up] on the chp competion.they used to have a competion years ago for the whole state of cali that oakland pd won most of the time thats the only time ive seen H/A cheer cops

u should watch them when "2" of them are doing that 6 inches apart from each other

This makes me want to go in a parking lot and practice my figure 8s, which I should do anyway. Maybe I'll work on that tomorrow.

I build vehicles for police at my day job (bikes, cars, trucks, vans, etc..)

I know the majority of our jocks pretty good.

My city entered the "rodeo" last year and I had to go check it out. Very very impressive! Those guys can ride!! but on the same token, have you ever looked real close at there techniques?
They ride the clutch pretty damn hard. On a city paid for bike with repairs done on the city dime, they tend to let "loose" a little more. For the most part, they don't ride there personal bikes like there work bike!

I remember the first Harley I built, I pulled it out of the shop and made a U-turn at the end of the parking lot and came back. One of the jocks laughed and said "damn son, I thought you were gonna run outta concrete" I laughed and pointed at my XB as I told him let me warm my bike up and i'll run circles around you.

Yep.... that 50 year old on his Harley made me eat my words as he was doing doughnuts between me and my XB parked about car length away. He did about five or six 360's laughing and just scraping the boards the whole time.

Before he pulled off he just looked at my XB and then at me and just smiled and rode off.

Needless to say, I didnt take long for me to realize how good, yet crazy the jocks are!

That was over 2 years ago and he has yet to ever say anything about it, he is actually a pretty cool guy.

I guess it just goes without saying! HAHA

Oh and at the rodeo contest (city jocks from all over compete)
They do a tandem cone run, they take a piece of short velcro (less then a foot) and attach it to 2 bikes, the cops have to do the course without the velcro ripping off!

F'N NUTS!!!

If you watch the CHP guys during their motor officer course, you'll see them drop, drop, drop, drop the bikes over and over.

They learn their trades and skills the old fashioned way. They're already pretty elite drivers right out of the academy, but to get selected for and graduating from the motor school is very very difficult. The attitude you normally see on a Mary unit is well deserved. They've earned it.
