I am now officially in the group of those that have been down. Up in PA visiting classmates and family and low sided my baby. Not a bruse, bump or scratch, only thing hurt was my pride and now my wallet. I have till monday to round up a front wheel and tire, plus at least one front fork if not a pair. Had it whoeed down to 10-15 mph before I laid it down and got my leg out from between it and the guard rail. If any has used parts that I can get next day I have a shop lined up, I may be able to next day quicker that ordering new. Pittsburgh area guys, if you know Harley dealers that stock buell parts, PLEASE let me know! Thanks in advance, Razman

You should definitely start a new thread targeting this in particular to get a more direct response

Sorry for your experience pal [smirk]

Raz: I actually thought about you the other day as we got rain for bike night! I was thinking it sucked that you came all that way for rain, but this story is even worse!![sad]

Unfortunately, I don't have any local leads for you. You might want to check
Buellsterparts.com??? I thought they had some wheels on there and alot of other general stuff.

Good Luck! Welcome to the group of "downers!" Most importantly, I'm glad you didn't get hurt![up]

Thanks 50dro, I have that site saved on my computer at work and couldn't think of it Sat. night. Bike is at the shop now getting tore down to check the triple tree. He has connections at Newcastle HD/Buell to track down a fork or possibly 2. Will keep ya'll updated and will post pics as soon as I find the cable to the camera.

sorry about your misfortune as well... care to share what happened to cause your low side? only asking because I love to learn from others experiences. Glad your ok though [up]

I feel your pain I did the same a 2months ago glad to hear you are ok.

_keep on riding_

Update, It's Thursday about 5pm, front wheel assembly came UPS around 3pm. Thanks 50dro, Sam from Buellster Parts hooked me up with a red 900 mi wheel. They are awsome to deal with, they actually called me after it was in UPS's hands. Just waiting for the correct fork assembly from Harley. Correct part number on outside of box, looked to be a silver SCG fork to me, another one to come in tomorrow. I have my fingers crossed but I'm not holding my breath.[sad][sad]

I'm glad they worked out for you!! Good luck on the rest of your project!

I'm finally home, safe and sound. Picked the bike up at 5pm friday, got on the road at 2pm today. Would have left sooner but I had to wait for the rain to pass through Pittsburgh.Imagine that!! Pulled in the yard at 11:45pm. I will post pics tomorrow on a new thread. Where should I post a Readers Digest version of the trip complete with pictures?:)
