I'm converting from clip-ons back to a normal handlebar and the throttle cables seem to be quite short. I'v looked at other postings about routing and I have alot of experience with this sort of thing. The new bars are pretty wide, (33") but that extra distance is only an inch or two at the most over stock, plus these are at least an inch and a half lower than stock. I'm suspecting that the PO installed shorter cables from another model (an "R"?). Any one know how long the stock XB cables should be for an "S" or are the cables on an "R" shorter? Finally if there are longer cables Does anyone have them?

Ok, I see that rizomaand Renthal are 28.5" and 29", so the extreme width is definitely contributing to my issue. But I'm still curious about what the stock length is or anyones experience with just how close a fit the stock cables are particularly with aftermarket bars. I'd really like to be able to turn right![sad]

S cables are longer than R cables, clutch cable is 6" shorter, dunno about the throttle cables. Would assume they are shorter as well. Have done the S to R conversion before and only changed the clutch cable. Have the Renthal Ultra Lows with no issues using the stock cables.
