yeap:D... bounching off the freaking walls right now, can't go riding cause it's raining, too dang cold in the garage to paint, nothing worth while on tv and I've gotta leave for work in an hour to do an engine water wash x3 on an MD-11 for UPS, oh did I forget to mention it's raining:p

checked out local hobby stores looking for the Tamiya PS-42 translucent yellow paint for the windscreen, no joy:( got it from evilbay, maybe have it by Friday and wire connector / pins due in on Thursday...all looking well so far for the weekend to do the swap, fingers crossed yet again:D

Good luck! My bearings and windscreen should be here this week too, hoping to have it together this weekend

took the ignition in today to local locksmith and a couple hours later got the call it was ready for pick up, 2 new keys and $40 later...[up] considering I bought the ignition for $10:D

new connector and pins arrived today, and began the removal/installation of the connectors for "plug n' play" :D

thanks wolfo, want to start the conversion tomorrow, but a busted water heater is on the table at the moment, just removed the old, what a pain in the arse:p earth quake straps suck...so gonna get an early start in the am to install the new one, so in the mean time the family has to take cold showers...can you say "turtle" :D that water is freaking cold

so here she is...still need to adjust the headlights and waiting on the translucent paint for the windscreen. everything works fine, the only thing I was wondering is how to have both lights come on when switched to high beam? any thoughts from those who have done the conversion?

need to clean her up and update pics when the windscreen has been painted, 'til then...

lights are working fine as they were wired mirroring the original headlight, anyone, anyone...both lights on when switched to high beam? what did I miss here to get both lights on?

thanks, I've seen that video before and used it...with the current set up, the S main wire harness has 4 wires, the orange one not being used with the R headlight wire harness which has 3 wires, black, white, and yellow, do I need to splice in the orange wire?

yeap, got her done, dual lights on when switched to high beam...wire sequence: black/black, white/white, yellow/orange, thanks to the high lighted thread^^^:D
