Got this list off of avidrider BIKE has listed the top 50 handling bike, ever, but that leaves itself open to debate so I'll just list them as BIKEs top 10 with other notables and their positions

1. Buell XB12R Firebolt (told ya )

2. Aprilia RS125

3. Triumph Daytona 650

4. 1956 BSA Gold Star

5. BMW R1200GS

6. GSXR600 ('05)

7. 1975 Ducati 900SS

8. Buell XB12S Lightening

9. Aprilia Pegaso Strada

10. Husaberg FS Supermoto 650e

I would imagine it fell into the same category as xb12 but they also took into account alot of other stuff that I dont know.

The list depends on the source(s) and year that the list was compiled. I've seen several that put a Buell in the top 5 or top 10, and I've seen other lists that don't have a Buell on it.

Did you guys read that thread? There was quite a bit of gixxah fapping going on in there, I am pretty sure at some point there was bro on bro penetration. I bet over 90% of those guys never climbed on a Buell.

I'm a bit late to the party, but since we're talking Buells I thought I'd throw in my experience.

If you want absolutely minimal maintenance, Buells are fantastic. Change the oil, make a few adjustments here and there, and ride. . .

Exactly the opposite of my multistrada. Gonna pay between 700-1000 bucks every 6,000 miles to maintain that thing, not counting consumables like tires, chain and sprockets. I usually maintain my own bikes but there's some stuff on the Duc that's about impossible to do at home.

Just some comparisons: Ducati- check those desmo valves every 6,000 miles, adjust as necessary - major pain in the ass. Buell - no valve checks or adjustments EVER.

Ducati - Change cam belts every 12,000. Buell - no cam belts.

Ducati - Sync fuel injectors every 6,000. Buell - one fuel injector, no sync necessary.

Ducati - change chain and perhaps sprockets every 10,000 miles or so. Adjust tension and lube every 500. Buell - drive belt - no maintenance or change.

The list goes on and on...

Oh, and the Buell is fun as hell!

at least some guy came to save the day

Have you ever rode a Buell?
Why yes I have a stt and a scg, various Harleys and I have torn apart a buell lightining engine and rebuilt my chopper from the ground up. I have also riddin almost every jap bike from a 250 ninja to a souped up busa. And lets not get into dirt, I have riddin everything on dirt. What about you? How far does your experience with bikes go?

List may be old but still rings true.

Point taken and I dont disagree with the list at all. I am just pointing out the date of the list because it is a list of best handling bikes "ever". However, there won't be any bikes on the list from the last 8 years.

"03Firebolt9R I get what you are saying I just liked the list that's all"
"oh9bolt I'm confused what happened, I must have missed something?" [confused]
