"I've been meaning to talk to you about that. You should find yourself a safehouse or a relative close by. Lay low for a while, because you're probably wanted for murder."

Back to the topic, I had a Blast that handled great. And it was comfy. Just didn't have the get up and go I wanted. Traded it for my 1125r. I won't say it handled great. I had a hard time getting traction with it. The bike had newer Bridgestone tires on it but it always broke traction. If I turned a corner and throttled it, the back tire would brawl free. It was kinda scary. I have a ninja 650r now. It's ok for the moment. Saving up so I can sell it and get the xb12r that I've been craving for years.

Britten V1100 should have been at the top of that list.

Respect to Erik Buell, but John Britten was light years ahead with the V1100 and a fraction of EB's budget.

BA bike and it competed well and looked good. Think about how great that guy was using those materials back ten even before the big manufacturer's were. Pretty impressive [up]

Such a sad thing that took him too. An amazing mind, gone. He built it in his garage and his rider pulled a wheelie next to the leader (Works Ducati) at Daytona...I mean COME ON! He was keeping with the leader and then wheelied next to him...amazing man, amazing bike.

1125s need slicks or Michelin imo. The Q2s that everyone rants and raves about how much grip they offer cant contain the beast either. I was sliding my ass everywhere until I put some 2CTs on it.

What are 2cts? I broke traction on hot sticky days when the tires should of tried to at least stick. If it was cool out or damp then I couldn't crack the throttle. Always had to ease into it.

You should always use the throttle smoothly. Roll into it, don't crack it open. Any time you jerk the throttle there's a high probability of breaking the tire loose. Riding a motorcycle is a lot of "finesse", you need to be smooth with everything you do.

Man I cant believe they went back and forth late into the night. Hopefully there will be a treaty.
