Hello guys, I'm having problems resetting the TPS, something went wrong with the operation
I’m using ecmSPY for some years now and I’d have no problems with it .
This is my second TPS, the first one malfunction at 66000 km, this one has 30000 km.
I don’t know what the problem is but the symptoms are very similar to the other problem so…
My question is, is this tps equal to the 2005 xb? I’m looking for a cheaper one, than the one I bought a few years ago
Thanks guys

I only found the Duralast TPS213 on the cross reference thread
The one on ebay is for a 1993 mustang 5.0, I read some were it was the same?

just check with local auto parts store, the BWD EC1016 is for a '93 mustang, should work just like the Duralast TPS213, post the results on the parts cross reference thread if it works, good info to pass along there

Well, my problem is I’m from Portugal, and the American car seen is very small
Thanks, I’ll post the results when I got them

oh, but not impossible to get to you, was in Saudi Arabia for a year and my wife used regular mail to send things to me, though it took a month or so to get to me from California

I don’t have a problem getting things from USA normally receive them very quickly
My main problem now is knowing if the part fits and works alright, not to mention if will solve the problem I’m having

Problem solved with the Buell, it was not a TPS problem, so did not buy the one on ebay

it was all in the intake manifold
It forced the throttle butterfly to be to open when idling, giving an incorrect tps value, for the actual amount of air that was entering.
I would love to know what causes this dirt inside the manifold. I'm runing a K&N filter, could it be the filtering oil that it uses?
The manifold's got 8 years old, never been clean before

Just an update, the Duralast TPS213 will work on a 2005 Buellx12Scg. The screws on the "butterfly" in the throttle body were loose and had to be tighten. That was causing my bike to sputter and stall at different times.

Cheers!
