Hey has anyone tried one of the gel seats from American Sportbike? Ive been looking at the Track-cf model. It looks nice but has a hefty price tag of 259.95. For that much money it had better be a good upgrade from the stock seat. So i figured i would see what yal thought.

I hear ya, it does seem a little high. I found a guy that would add padding and re-cover it but he wanted 300.00 up front, and i had no idea how it would look when done. I just want to be able to ride for more than an hour before my old ass is hurtin lol.

$259 for a gel seat is cheap. I realize our bikes don't really have much to them, but try looking at prices for seats on a cruiser...

St paul hd sells the saddlemen on ebay for 215. I love American sport bike and use them when convenient, but I am a cheap bastard at heart!

Oooo, I'm about 30 mins from St. Paul HD. Maybe they'll sell one a little cheaper if they don't have to pay EBay and Payal fees.

I bought one of sport version (microfiber seat) of the Saddleman from St Paul through eBay for my 1125. My butt didn't fit it. Would love to get $175 shipped if anyone is interested. Only has about 200 miles of use.

Hey Marc what do you think of that saddle compared to the stock seat? If your butt fit it would you have liked it?...

I have the track cf for my zx10 seems awful firm for my taste. The guy at riders discount said the track is harder than the sport.

the zx10 seat from factory was better than either of my buell seats.
I found the track cf for cheap and had to try it. going to try it at a trackday before my final decision
