I am used to having it and it is a pain, every time my wife gets on the back she says I can't get this thing up, so I shut off the motor, then get off the bike, then take the key out of the ignition and stick it in the pin. It drives me crazy.
Now that you posted this, it got me thinking about it, and I'm just saying....maybe it is something we might not want to disable? I could be wrong, but I am imagining if you hit some rough road or have to take a bad line at sometime, and you are 2 up. Might be a good thing to have at some point? Not really sure why the pin is there? I need some coffee before attempting to think [confused]
