Help Support Buellxb Forum:

thats where i bought the bike and i have considered it but would have to fork over quite a bit im told. i know there are some more privately owned shops. but the only one i can think of is quicktime motorsports (i think thats it). but i was searching for a place that others have used with a good rep.

also; going off of what i described in the above posts, would you think i could benefit from an upgraded ecm? or would a tune fix my problem? i'd rather ask here than pay a harley tech to answer the same questions.

thanks!!!

Stang, Rudy over at Quicktime has a heck of a reputation for dialing in sportbikes. I don't know if he's done much with Buells, but his reputation is pretty high on the others. It might be worth calling him. If you're heading East on 70, just before Cave Springs exit you'll see the large U-Haul building on your left (the north side). If you turn in there, and head north, you'll see his shop on the end of a metal building. I've never dealt with him personally, but I've heard some pretty wicked bikes come in and out of there. I used to do some side work in the same building...

Iyaoyas, I hear a lot of good things about Odie at Special Ops. But If I had a dollar for every post I've read about how hard he is to get a hold of or get a response out of, I could probably buy one of his pipes. Which sucks... i wanted a set of his heat blankets for my scg...

thanks fire, im going to run the bike by there and see what they recommend. im going to do the breather re-route first and see how much trouble that eliminates.

i think its mostly the exhaust at it making it run leaner (from what i've learned on here) but i was going to do all my mods that could possibly have an effect on performance now, then have them tune it all at once so i wont have to do it again. i'll probably stop by there next week sometime and see what they want to tune it. im getting ready to do the breather re-route right now. need to find a catch can i like.

Did you see the little NOS bottle one? You can get those at the gas station, they are one of those energy drinks. I think if I bothered with it I would go with that.

well i did it tonite! got a wild hair up my ass and started taking crap apart. for now im just using about a 15'' of hose as a catch can with a petcock in the end. i will be starting to make my own catchcan tomorrow. im just using some small diameter exhaust tubing (about a 4-5'' piece) and the petcock in the bottom and a male hose fitting up top. gotta weld caps over the ends of coarse. and i'll paint it up for now till i get around to having tim powdercoat it.

btw did you have tim do your bars? i try to throw him as much work as possible.

but the breather was easy as can be and i'd be more than happy to help

midland? lol no he is independant and works out of his garage. does a great job though. where is this place you speak of?

i think in a few weeks we all should ride out to fast eddies or somethin.

Stopped by Big St Charles tonight. Only saw 2 other Buells. Didn't see you there Stang. Got my bars on and I love the look.:D

Keep me in the loop guys. BTW, the Stefaninas Express on Zumbehl Rd. is my place. Stop by if your in the area, or send me a message if you guys get together. I have a difficult schedule, but a ride to Fast Eddies sounds great. If I'm off, I'm in.

iya, i think i seen you as you were heading out. i was the dipshit in the orange long sleeve shirt pointing directly at you right outside the doors of the building lol. we'll figure it out one day lol. yeah rojo your not far at all. we'll have to meet up for a bike night at show me's or hooters too. cheap food for moto people. cant go wrong. oh and big waitress bewbage mmmmmmmmm

just had to throw in here though not for any good reason. Im in the Jefferson City MO Area. Seen a few Buell's around but mostly people on Harleys asking what kind of bike I am riding :-(

im wanting to go to the lake of the ozark bike rally thing but i am told its mostly just at one campground. thats near you in a ways. i may just go down there for the weekend at least.

Ordinance is for the monkeys!! haha!! I was AVI....for 10 years...well as a reservist..tampon..weekend warrior..part timer..what ever you wanna call it. I'm a TX buell guy though. Never saw a buell on an MCAS though so good on ya for not falling into the import side.

It is spelled ORDNANCE, I remember AVI being for tards....:D When did you serve in the reserves? I was at NAS Fort Worth from 97 to 2000. Maybe you blew one of my weekends. Miss Texas alot, especially all the motorcross riding.
