Trying to contact hawkperformance

Has anyone had problems trying to contact hawk performance? I went to the website and I couldn't find any numbers to call so I did the we'll contact you bull **** and gave him my email and told him I wanted his business. And it's been 6 days so far. a week tomorrow morning. Am I just not patent enough or has anyone else had this problem?

Yes I just need my ECM tuned and I wanted to send in my stock pipe till I save up enough money for a keda rt-3. And huh I must just be stupid I didn't see that at all. Thanks man

If you want an ECM programmed try this guy. He has done my '03XB9S , '07 ULY , and 2 HDs. All run great.

Does that guy Nelson have hawk maps? I mean, my afv stays at 104% and pulls well with the race maps and timing, but a map for my hawk would be cool to try.

If your planning on getting the rt3 why spend savings on a cheap exhaust and a map just to have to buy another exhaust and map? I've never been able to understand why buy something you don't want and wast money. Its your done though but you won't be disappointed with the rt3. I bet if you wait till Christmas time there might be a decent deal on the keta. (that's what i did) correct me if I'm wrong but you spend the cash for the cheep stuff could sell it later to fund the system you want and maybe (probably not) break even. Or you could sell the stock stuff to fund what you want and be ahead..?

I like to try stuff.. Sorry I totally get where your coming from but iv only had stock on two bikes now and one rt-3 and I know just by shootouts the keda is the best and iv had it and I love it but iv heard a few people say they like there modded stock exhaust and tuned ECM. So i dont know it's like why not try it something different

Yes he does.(have hawk maps) both of my Buells have Hawks.
He also does powder and ceramic coating . Also full engine rebuilds.

All has to do with timing and budgets. Lots of people try to compare a $200 pipe to a $600+ pipe...Apples and oranges guys! The Hawk fits the bill for the best pipe out there for $200 (my opinion). If your budget is higher then you can get into the Torque Hammer (which we sell), Keda, D&D, Drummer, etc etc...All good pipes as well, just a different price point.

That is not what stensg is doing at all. The op said he wants a hawk until he can save up for a rt-3. The point is why waste 1/3 of the savings for what you really want on something you don't want. And that was already answered by the OP too, he likes to try different stuff.

Depends on how long it will take to save the $ IMHO. If it were me (and it's obviously not), and I had to go a riding season on a stock pipe vs. spending a little on a good budget pipe then turning around and getting $150-200 for it later towards the new pipe, I'd definitely do what the OP is considering.

My main point is that I hear too often when someone says (and I paraphrase) "I want to spend $200 on a pipe" most people's response is "you should spend $600." Simply not an option for some (including myself). I'm not pointing out stensg or anyone else...Just a general observation. Carry on...

I wouldn't get into pricing his work. I did some horse trading for the work he did for me. Give him a call and let him go over that direct. Also he works a full time job during the week and does this on week ends. So you hAve to contact on the week ends. He's about an hour north of Atlanta if you are in the area. I went to his house, he tuned , I road down the road came back. Said need a little more here , a little less there. No problem , his adjusted , till where I wanted. Great to work with.
Buy the way I have no interest in him, no kick backs . Just happy w/ His work.

You can also contact "theoctopus" at the tuniversity. He is located out west but can tune remotely, he knows his ****. Him and Mr.Hawkins work with each other a lot. If you want a hawk exhaust tuned Tuniversity and the man himself are your best options.
