yes u are right but u guys are talking about sea level as if your tuning a 1000hp dragster, these bike dont have that in them u can tweek all u want it only gonna b a difference of maybe 5hp if your a great tuner and done mind running your motor on the lean side .....then maybe 10 hp but thats it and thats not enough to cry about

thats a good pic and your right dave the argument was fun while it lasted but its old now next topic

i apolgize fellas im highly competitive i have a disease called called u cant beat me and it came out on this forum:D

from one supermoto racer to the other.....

speed IS in the handling. you should know that better than most. c'mon dude.

also, it appears youre thinking tuning it lean will get ya more power than not. this is incorrect.

While you all keep arguing... maddog, here's your cheapest option, which will keep you going strong and loud:

Buy an ECMSpy cable off eBay. Got mine for around $40 shipped. Dowload ECMSpy software, if you cannot download it for free, send me a PM and I will e-mail it to you. I got the software when it was free, therefore I can give it to who I want for free.

ECMSpy is a powerful tool and can do anything you want to do to the ECM on your Buell. From TPS resets (approximately 5 minutes of your time with ECMSpy, but will run you $60+ at the HD Dealer) to cold-start enrichment settings, to testing your cooling fan, injectors, etc., to a full tune of your bike. ECMSpy really does it all.

Download MegaLogViewer. I think there is other logging software out there, but this is the one I use, know, and love, so I recommend it. This should also be free, if not, PM me, I'll try to get it to you.

Read this thread to learn all you need to know about logging your rides to get the best tune out of your bike. With the stock O2 sensor, you'll get a great tune, I know, I've done it (with a K&N and Carbon Fiber Jardine). With a wideband O2, you may get better results than on a dyno if you do it properly, because the air you're riding through on a dyno is not what you'll be riding through on the street.

If you want my map to get you started, or to keep and use as-is (works great for me) let me know.

Lastly, about your Jardine. I've heard some things about aluminum Jardine pipes falling apart and off the bike. The CF and Titanium ones are not really prone to this, however. If yours is aluminum, I suggest following the recommended guidelines of repacking it every 5,000 miles. Understandably, this can be annoying, but it's probably a good precaution. If you've got CF or Ti, it seems like you don't need to worry as much.

If you've got more questions, we're all here to help... well... at least most of us are. I guess some are here just to rant.

wow this guy superretard(moto) is a tool.thats my input on this post.. people dont tune there bikes just to get more power out of them its about them running good and making the motors last as long as possible thats my opinion. good luck.

p.s i bet he drags boot and thinks he cool..idiot.. im sorry this guy just really pissed me off.

bentlife u are a clown what i said is my opinion on why i would not get the ebr race ecm, again ITS JUST A STOCK ECM WITH A TUNE FOR 250$ ******* as far as the cable it can be a problem if u dont no what ur doin ,but yes with the right help or person doin it it is a good thing. but however fallas an **** alike buells are not fast people their fun. i take my buell out just to whip all over jap bike owners, u no speed freaks people that can only go fast in a staight line
does this sound familiar BENTLIFE?
and as far as draggin my boots wrong ,but i will drag your bottom lip when u see what i can do on a bike and thats no lol cause im not laughing
