know this is a long-shot but thought i'd post anyway. have an 04 XB9 firebolt i bought from original owner with 3400 miles on it. absolutely positively flawless with hawkins exhaust and tank bag, no other mods. want to trade for Ulysses with low mileage, stock, any year. will trade firebolt and cash. i just can't get comfortable on the bolt which is reason for trading. thanks much.

I got you, brother. Quick Q, is that your BMW tourer, or someone elses? I just figured if you had that bad boy to tour on, why sell the R. Either way, I will let you know if i see anything!

yes sir, please let me know if you do. motorcycles have always been my passion and addiction. i have an eclectic collection and some modern stuff as well. the bmw is a 2007 R1200RT/SE that i use for trips, overniters, things like that. i have my 2 buells for evening rides, day riding, and i really love them but the firebolt is just too uncomfortable for me though i like the bike very much. my claim to fame in the kawasaki triples world is that i have two H1's and 4 H2 triples. my 69 H1 is serial #2 and is the very first kawi triple ever to leave the factory. means nothing on here but is a big deal in the vintage japbike world. LOL thanks again and hoping i don't come off as some sort of self-absorbed bragger as i'm very far from it.

This too is a bump for a nice bike...............

But also a thought, have you thought of trying the lower pegs (one inch drop factory part) and either the high bar kit from ASB (A16503) or the super bike bar kit (9077)? Either of which will give you better leg and arm positioning like your looking for.

cyclic: thanks for the excellent suggestion but i sold the bolt and bought a slightly used 2007 Uly. in all honesty i just wasn't in the mood to throw another $400 or more at the bolt to try and gain some comfort. thanks again.
