I'm guessing they'd hit the fairing, huh? Has anybody ever seen this? I'd love to have them on my bolt in the winter, as my hands freeze...
I agree, the hands guards don't do much for keeping my hands warm. .. about all there good for is deflecting the occasional stone that would sting hitting even a gloved handshawn: just go with heated grips.
those suck. go with bikemaster grips. under $50 delivered on evilbay. if you need the link let me know. i'll be happy to walk you thru the installation process when the time comes. first time you do them they can be tedious....especially the throttle side.10-4, I intend to get heated grips, but thought the guards would help as well...
I was going to do the heated grips that slide into the bars, but I finally found a drawback to welded nuts in the bars for the bar end mirrors lol. Can't slip them things in now unless I drill a big hole in the bars, which might be what I end up doing...
