My wife and I got a boxer/bassett hound mix several months ago. Her and our oldest dog don't get along so we have to find her a new home. If anyone knows anyone in the central florida area that would be interested in adopting a good dog please pass this along. We love her but unfortunately can't keep her. More info below(copied and pasted from a flyer my wife made):

Sophie is a 2 year old 50lb boxer basset hound mix looking for a forever home. She is sweet, playful and very loving. She is spayed and up to date on all vaccinations and shots. She is house trained and knows how to sit, stay, shake paws and speak. Sophie comes with a large crate, a bed, two bowls, a collar, leash, and harness. Sophie is micro chipped as well. We have an older dog who just can’t accept a new addition to the family so we are fostering Sophie until she finds her perfect match. We are asking for a $100.00 adoption fee. Yeah she's a really good dog. Unfortunately our oldest and her will not get along. We've tried making it work for about 6 months but after about 6 really bad fights and several emergency vet visits(and a lot of $$$) it's just not going to work out for her in this home. That sounds really bad but she really is a great dog, and gets along with every other dog we've been around(our family all have several dogs). For some reason just these two butt heads. We'd really like to find someone that wants her rather than bring her back to the spca.

Aww man I would love a boxett hound!!! I'm so tempted but I just don't think I have room for three dogs. Such a cool dog I'm sure you will find her a new home.[up]good luck!
