When I bought my bike it came with a Drummer exhaust already installed and I have been quite happy with how my bike has run and the sound. Several months ago I'd had the itch to try a different exhaust and got my hands on a front exit exhaust from greasyxb9s.

I liked the sound, even though it was a little quieter. So while I had this one on I took the opportunity to open up the Drummer and see its guts (or lack thereof) for my own eyes. Needless to say, there's not much to it. Then I had an idea... I pulled out the screen and packing material and closed it back up.

A little over a week ago I decided to put my unpacked Drummer on my bike. I really like the sound, both at idle and at speed. Also, it feels like the bike has a little bit more torque compared to when the can was packed and seems to be running just a tad bit cooler.

Just thought I'd share. Your can go back to whatever you were doing. :)

Yeah I'm running a empty can now too I like the sound and performance from it over the jardine I was running.....

By the way love the black plastics hope you are enjoying the yellow!!! Thanks again in the trade!

Your bike looks great. [up] Now I really need to go clean mine.

I'm always going to be a fan of the black, but the yellow has been really well received by people who have seen my bike previously and those who have only seen it yellow. My wife really liked the new look, too.

Although I won't say I'm running a completely empty can I did cut mine up, fully gutted it and then installed 3 'pony-wall' style baffles with holes in them for some additional flow-through. Just finished redoing my tips and repainting it. The open sound makes such a huge difference. Sounds like a total beast.

Thank you sir. She's babied, that's for sure. Not a scratch anywhere and only 6k miles.
