1. First off, I'm having a mini meet BBBQ for Moto GP. Everyone is welcome to come!

2. Some Buellers and I are doing an Oregon run in mid July, so you Northerners can meet us at our destination, Portland OR.

3. I'll host a west coast Buell meet. We should just figure out when. I'm thinking next spring should be long enough notice? Where do you guys prefer, Fresno or Monterey?

1.We might have to stop by for Motogp.

We'll be trailering the bikes down the friday before the races and leaving the Monday after. We're staying in the dorms of the campus.

How far are you from CSU Monterey?

2. Your nutz! That's an insanes ride on Buells. I-5 north is rought until you hit the Oregon border. Dunno if we're going to make that ride. Especially being right after MotoGP.

3. Keep us in the loop and and we'll do our best to make it out.

~when I say US i mean My brother and I. He's never on the forums but we always ride togehter.

Hey Dave,

I would be interested.

I might suggest Mendocino, they have some really nice twisty roads in/out of this place.

We could take the 128 in to Mendocino and the 20 out?

I'm down! I-5 does suck but I ride it 3 hours to see my gf every other week so I think I can do it for a Buell-get-together [cool]

dave_xb12r was planning on taking hwy 1. Besides that, my question was is do you still have to let the gas station attendant fill you bike for you in Oregon? I'd be worried they would never get it right, AND you'd have to tell the guy how at every fuel stop...

LOL^

Ya there is no "self service" in OR. Is kinda lame. Id love a west coast Buell meet. Count me in.

Mendocino sounds nice, but dang thats far!! I don't think I can host it from here. I'd have no way to get all of the crap there. Monterey or Fresno I can do. Plus I think either one is a good Mid point for most West coast people.

kajer, last time i went through oregon(about 2 yrs. ago) on a bike, the dude grabed the nozzle, set the pump, and handed me the nozzle and said "here ya' go" and stood there and watched me fill up.

LOL, that would be quite weird being that they are full service in oregon. The pump attendant must love motorcyclist

Being from Oregon the pump attendants hand you a paper cloth and the nozzle and you do it yourself.
Everyone thinks it's weird to have someone pump our gas but it's so nice when weather is ****** and you don't want to get out of your car. We get to employee more people here and our gas is still way cheaper than Washington California and Idaho!

dave,

I will be in your area this weekend. I am taking my bike to JTS Performance.

Any thing going on?

John

Saturday is a Harley run from salinas to the San Juan Bautista mission. I will be going with Bajabomber87 and another local Buell rider. You're welcome to come along! Here is a link. Registration is only required if you want to eat their lunch(I think)

event info

Dave, I'm out, I have to work on my trucks and get the tow rig out of the driveway...spent all last week and weekend playing with the Buell, now its onto real life lol.

Not sure where the Oregon meet is, but I would be down for another trip to your area, Dave. I miss the Cali coast. I'll have to make sure I schedule enough time, too.

I'd really like to do the West Coast Buell meet. I met the guys at ASB and I'm sure they'd help out. The one thing that I worry about is small turn out. I want to make sure it's worth the trip for the those that are traveling the longest distance like you Jimmydean. So I'd like to do a feeler to see how many people would be interested in coming out.

I look for any chance to haul ass down 101 and 1 I can find. I might be moving closer (Ashland) at some point, too. So I would only be about 4 hours away.

I live in Ashland (oregon) and would love to get together with some fellow Buellers. Its pretty few and far between around here.
