Goosed it and took it over 100 mph in no time flat - it occurred to me it had been a while since I had her that fast.

warm??? way too hot ... ! [down] belive me I dont like it that hot....almost 8.oo pm and still 33 degrees F in the house..

like to try out pads...
worst: Goldfren! cheap, loud and no stopping power...very bad
 
Just put some Renthal road race grips on, only took 20 minutes of cleaning the grip glue off the left side. Right slide there was none, evidently the dealer that worked on it after I hit the deer is a huge fan of grip glue. Soon as it warms up a little I am going to wash some of the road grime, salt, and de-icing spray off my bike from the last few days of commuting in sleet and snow. Easy day for the 12r.
 
on Wednesday, oil/filter/primary change, replaced clutch cable...ordered the wrong cable, well kinda, thought the cable ordered was for a Lightning, but it was for a Firebolt cause had my parts list out for the S to R conversion, palm to forehead:p it's all good since I now have a Lightningbolt:D although will have to buy a new cable if and when I decide to convert back to an S...
 
Yesterday drove 300+ miles for parts due mostly to parts guy mistakes and my schedule of things I had to do. Today I finally got it up on the stands but the Timonium Motorcycle Show and a flat tire on my truck slowed my progress further. Tomorrow I will be working on it nonstop.

I tore down the rear cylinder on my 99 M2 and gave her a fresh set of Genuine James Gaskets, plus a fresh oil change, primary chain adjustment, front brake pads, and moved the rear wheel back a hair. Also, it's very easy to tear apart the rear cylinder without rotating/removing the engine, someone on here said it was required...
 
I did the Air breather Reroute this weekend! WOW what a difference. It started much better, runs smoother, and does not bog down at takeoff. Thanks to everyone on this site who recommended it and shared pictures.
