Promised to never ride another bike ever..... its been beautiful all week and my bike has been down. Well the guy at work said I could ride his gsxr to get lunch and man I'm telling you that thing was horrible. No punch off the line like our buells!

As soon as I get my EBR hardware kit, I can install it all! [cool]

Installed new shift lever toe peg rubber, $3.75 from ASB.com I would rather deal with Ed and co. than any HD dealer for my Buell parts.

While doing that, adjusted shift lever linkage to compensate for 1" lowered footpegs from Knight Design previously installed.

I rode the Hell out of her and was put in my place by a Murcielago. Umm.. those things are kinda fast.. and the sound it made.. good God man. I swear it went from 20 to 80 in one second and in one gear.

My Buell made me smile a lot today.

I'm going back to a belt; so I finalized the mock up. Now it's time to take it apart and weld it back up.

Custom shift linkage from fishxb12 received today. I got the full set with radius cuts, $32.00 shipped. He even included two new mounting screws! So impressed. What workmanship! Fits perfectly. Works great - seems like a more solid feel to shifting with it installed. Service was fast and very professional. Here it is:

Also... Last night I lowered my front fairing back to stock height, installed a stock upper R triple and bars, bled my brakes, put shorty levers on, new front signals, changed my front pads, did the flasher mod, got some new rubber for the rear, cleaned out the headlight housings, installed a voltmeter in my dashboard, changed out my windscreen for a stock height one (had a touring one on it when I got it), fixed my horn (open ground), fixed my rear brake light switch (replaced with a used one from the UK), reheatshielded the underside of my seat, fixed the rear blinkers, took my old and busted frame pucks off and cleaned the frame to get ready for some new ones (after I repair the frame damage of course), Aaaaand changed the earls.... Again... Lol
