I unloaded it from my truck and put some lightning pegs on it for a little bit of comfort. I wanted to clean it up real good but it is really chilly out today, tomorrow is supposed to be 59 and sunny so that seems to be a better day for that kind of stuff.

Thanks! I'll get it cleaned up tomorrow and post a new thread with good pics. It came with the passenger pegs and stock airbox cover as well as the owners manual, service manual and a brand new K&N Clean/Recharge kit.

New controls, new throttle assembly (needs work), shortened up the res hoses.

Replacing the front and rear rocker box gaskets and PCV grommets.

And cleaning the cooling fan, which has become oiled from the rear rocker box:

It's also time for an oil and tranny fluid change. And I might paint the muffler while it's off.

Replaced the Uly's battery. Cold weather was last nail in the coffin yesterday morning. No starting after more than an hour on the charger.

Downside is I could only get the battery from HD. Which was about US$100...:sorrow:

But now it is a quick touch of the starter and she fires right up

Oil change and also checked wheel bearings. Have adventure weekend on first weekend of September.

Don't want to be stuck like last year with busted rear wheel bearing...

Painted screen with plastidip type paint.

And those "bubbles" are water droplets. :D

Will see how it holds up.

Cleaned up the bike. Trying out some of the Turtle Wax Ice line of products, specifically the car wash and the liquid Wax in the spray bottle. The car wash seems just like any other car wash but the liquid Wax seems to be a really good product, leaves behind no white residue so its safe around the frame and black plastic bits. I spent the better part of 3 hours going over the bike, including multiple applications of the Wax. I think it looks better today than when I first got it 2000 miles ago!
