What do you do when it's 20 degrees outside?

ALSO... I'm not a big fan of heated grips or gear, I just layer up with some good riding gear and suck it up! Heated gear/grips are a waste of $$$. JMO!
It depends on location. I use heated gear about 6 months per year for morning commute. At least 3 months per year it is nearly impossible to ride here with no heated gear even with a bunch of cloth layers or good riding gear. Another 3 months per year I prefer to use heated gear with light riding gear above than put a bunch of heavy layers.

Screw it.....I went to the Chicago motorcycle show on Friday and a vendor there was selling heated gloves....the one that I bought are internally regulated, so no need for a separate controller. Gloves are the only heated gear I'd ever use....everything else can be layered up properly....but there's only so much you can do for your hands. I'm going to try them out tomorrow. It should be about 30 degrees when I leave my house tomorrow morning....about 20 miles into work. I wired this up on my CBR, not the Buell....CBR has way better wind protection, seat, etc.

I layer up when it's cold. Only thing that gets to me is my toes and fingers. If it's below freezing I don't ride unless it drops after I hit the road.

Just went for a 124 mile ride on my new Buell in CA 72 degrees weather.
