I noticed that these tires were on the Ama Sportbikes for 2009.

Good or bad?? Whats the story here??

Check out Metzler too, I have 11,000 miles on mine. They have great traction and I've gotten a tone of wear out of them

Just found Tomahawk Tires. What are the deal with them, does anyone know anything about them?

I'm finding more people bitching then actually knowing anything about them.

there were a few threads about them on another forum.

while I have not used them the general consensus was that they were very heavy and the belts were commonly out of alignment. low speed commute was fine but wet grip was poor.

they are a fantastic choice for a rear stunt tire and they last well but are known to throw chunks if pushed too far in a burnout.

oh and they don't seem offer the colored tires anymore.

other than that you get what you pay for, no shortcuts.

check out Maxxis/chien shing for a little higher quality low end tire.
