03xb9er/I work for Bagby Elevator,an independant company based in Birmingham, but we have offices throughout the south

Can't say I've dealt with your co tider. You guys do resi/commercial/traction/hydro? My co used to be an independent family co but is now owned by Otis. We manufacture hydro commercial and resi products. And ya def has ups and downs (ya heard that a million times). My newest project is the world trade center transportation hub. Kinda a cool project to design for me. It's not everyday you meet another elevator guy outside the normal industry channels!

We do all of the above. Not much new Construction for independants but plenty of mod work.Ive never worked for Otis but its kinda slow for them around here too,but hey...as long as the penthouse is popular, elevator men will have a job

As my name suggests I am in the sewer business. Been at the same place for 28 years. We have remote control cameras that go thru storm or sanitary sewer pipelines. We find out what is wrong with the pipes and have "trenchless" techniques to do repairs from inside the pipe so we don't have to dig-up the streets. Its a weird industry, but hey, SOMEBODY'S GOT TO DO IT! We are number ONE in the number TWO business.
