O yeah they are fickal like our Buells and they are also rare like em. I am on swedespeed forum now and they are as helpful as buellxb.

This one just had its angle gear replaced, a $3000 replacement... Ill be doing all the work on my own!!

I had an 04 V70R wagon and loved it. I've had a few Volvos for that matter but trust me on this Loki, BECOME FRIENDS WITH A GOOD VOLVO MECHANIC, trust me. I have 2 on standby for my next Volvo purchase.

Volvo fans are a rare bunch. Walls, you should do the OSD program if you buy new. If I buy another new one, I will do it for sure.

Rebel blue C30 R design, NICE! [up]. I like the C30s but the wife says they're to small. I've always liked Volvo wagons and was/am disappointed they're not bringing anymore wagons to the US supposedly.

All that and more! Polestar LE. Yeah, I guess they don't see the US as a wagon market anymore. Strange because to me, when I think of wagons/hatchbacks, the first that comes to mind is a Volvo.

I did the Volvo OSD for my facelift C30 as well. At the time Polestar was not available yet. :(
Getting ready to sell if anybody is interested. 2011 31,xxx miles. R-Design, navigation, premium sound, hard cargo cover, 30% tint on all windows, clear bra covering entire hood/both fenders/rear deck

I love that we have other volvo lovers on here!

I first seen a s60 back in highschool while going to vocational school and i always loved the look. Mildly round straight down front and a boxy back with those arm rests on the truck! So sexy to me. Plus it is fun, fast, save, comfy.

I have alot of mods in mind for this bad boy :). I want to put 300 to the ground sub 1000$ upgrades which should be super easy to do.

Eliminate the payment.

Also forgot: Bi-Xenon Active Bending Lights, Electronic Climate Control, Multimedia package, preferred package, power driver AND passenger seats, keyless drive, rear armrest

Basically the ONLY things it DOESN'T have are: heated seats, self dimming mirror, and BLISS (blind spots side mirror warning system)

Remainder of 60,000 mile / 5 Year warranty intact.

A volvo only has a 60,000 mile warranty? That's surprising to me considering the price tag(not that I'm familiar, but I assume they are pricey).

It's kind of funny. It's the lower priced foreign manufacturers (Hyundai/Kia/etc) that first started offering 10 year 100,000 mile warranties to entice people who would normally overlook them. Not THAT long ago it was common for Honda/Toyota (good reputation companies) to only offer 35,000/50,000 mile warranties.

Yeah well it surprises me because my ram has a 100,000 mile power train and I bought it used. I think GM and Ford have 75,000 mile or maybe 100,000 mile power train as well.

I do remember when everyone had the 30,000 mile warranty typical. Anymore though 50,000 mile + is typical.

Really not that bad, my Cadillac ATS was way more than the C30. Also, all of the maintenance is included.

what's the warranty on the caddy? I thought GM had at least a 75,000 mile warranty or something around there. Also keep in mind I was thinking in my head something more like a chevy aveo (cheap cheap car) that has a longer warranty.

I really know nothing about volvo, just surprising I figured they'd have one of the longest warranties.

I was referring to the price of the caddy being higher than the Volvo. But the caddy has a 4/50k bumper to bumper and a 6/70k power train warranty. It also has the premium care maintanence, it covers oil changes, tire rotations etc that matches the 4/50k warranty.

Oh gotcha. I like GM, and it's kind of funny that they range from one of the worst cars made(like a $12000 mini hatch) to one of the best cars made(fully equipped zr1 at like $120,000+).

Granted my wife has a chevy aveo and it's not a bad car at all, actually quite good, reliable, surprisingly roomy, and efficient. But my point is that GM ranges from the cheapest fuel savers out there to one of the best super cars ever made.

^^^^ Same could be said about the Volkswagen group. Everything from bargain basement VWs to the Bugatti under one ownership.

My 207,000 mile daily. 4 cyl 5 speed

I had a 97 s10 4 cylinder 5 speed I loved driving that truck. Sold it to my boss with 220,000 miles on it, very few minor issues and regular maintenance. Had to go to a bigger truck, we needed a back seat. My boss sold it to his son and it now has like 250,000 miles on it still running great. Very good vehicles.

Got a bad ass new car that compliments my yellow xb9 EXCELLENTLY!

Sold my Audi station wagon and bought a 2006 Crown Victoria P71 (Police Package) with 119k miles, power everything, v rated tires, and i'm getting 23mpg around town right now. I just washed her yesterday, but all the flowers are blooming right now and i came out this morning only to find that she was drowning in yellow pollen. She's clean as a whistle though! just needs a good buff/wax at work probably friday. I'm not going to do a whole lot to her though, just to keep it reliable. The only real performance mod (if you can even call it that) that i'm doing is having the factory mufflers cut out and having some magnaflows welded in at my muffler shop. Going to keep all the cats and the factory H pipe though. Just something to remind me that i still have a V8 (cause this car is a TURRRDDD!!!)
