Hi Forerunner,

The Mustang looks gorgeous[up][up][up]
Is it a 1964 Model Year or newer?

There are so many successful people in this thread :)
Hope my success will meet me soon.
So far no bike. And even no car:(.
Life is shit in Ukraine.

konarider94,

I hear ya. the first motorcycle I ever rode was an '05 Blast in a Rider's Edge course. My son was born in '05. So when I found a bone stock, non-Rider's Edge '05 Blast w/650 miles on the clock I bought it thinking it'd be pretty neat for my son to learn to ride on a) the same bike his old man did and b) a bike that's as old as he his.

Of course that doesn't mean the old man can't have some fun on it in the meantime :)

SonderMann,

Thanks, you have a good eye. The Mustang is a 1965.

We spent 4 years restoring it(I would never recommend anyone restore an old car lol). Just turned 50k on the clock since we finished restoring it in ~2000.

I see you have a Jardine on your Blast. I know that really wakes up the little guy. Have you rejetted the carbs? That's another mod that's cheap and makes a real big difference.

Alfatango1,

48 low, 178 high. :)

Idle air screw blockplate drilled out and then adjusted, Yost tube installed, and needle shimmed.

And you're right, it made a huge difference.

I've gotta be pushin' 34 horsepower now, don mess wif me!!! lol

Hi Nels,

4 years and 50 K for restoration of the 1965 'Stang. You should have made a movie about that:D You must be very patient purposeful man[up][up][up] no doubt!
So the result is stunning :) The history is alive and like new. Maybe even better than new ;)
I am really impressed!!!
You got my Rep Point for nice pics and great job!

My daily driver is a RARE 2001 Dodge Intrepid R/T "Dodge Motorsports Edition" It's rare because it's 1 of only 383 Intrepid R/T's made in 2001 for Dodge Motorsports. It's "special" because '01 is when Dodge got back into NASCAR. The original purchaser received a track bag that contained several items. It's Black Pearl paint, factory wheels, leather interior, 3.5L H.O. engine, Auto-stick trans.

Track bag contents were as follows.

Motorsport Package:
-Soft-sided beverage cooler
-gift-boxed 1/24th scale model race car
-custom Tasco binoculars
-46-inch by 57-inch three-color Afghan
-insulated water bottle
-vented umbrella
-lapel pin
-professional stopwatch in a commemorative tin
-barrel can cooler
-red twill cap with "Dodge Returns 2001" on it
-an autograph pen
-red adult-sized poncho
-"Different to the 10th" poster
-fabric pit-pass/credential holder
-windshield band decal
