The first thing I did when I got the bike home was pull off the passenger pegs. She never asked and I never brought it up. I wouldn't mind if she came out every once in a while but she also knows I used to get extremely annoyed because she would refuse to pay attention and was constantly hitting my helmet with hers and swaying back and forth when I was trying to control the bike. Some people just weren't meant for the back of a bike. We got her a gs500 years ago but she got tired of it.

Same thing!!! but my girl is only 22 and I love taking her on rides, things arent too fun if u cant share them with somebody. its like going to an amusment park by yourself (WOOOOHOOOO wait....? Im the only one... "sigh"[sad])

I guess it is the same as with spending money on some mods for my bike.

Before buying I buy her a gift.

So before riding my bike i give her a ride.....

Mine is 25 and is from Havana(Cuba), but I realise that today I turned 45. So no offense to me. The truth is; I have nothing to complaint about. [smirk][smirk][smirk]

Who needs horsepower when your wife has hotpants. Until now no-one has overtaken us!

But driving alone is getting more difficult. That is why i popped the question!

My fiancee, soon to be wife, at first wouldnt even look at my bike. Now shes hooked like a drug.. everytime i go out, she is crushed when she cant go. But she doesnt really like to take corners all that hard, or go all that fast.. and HATES wheelies... So when I get to ride by myself, I ride like i dont have another chance with her alone! Tried talkin her into her own bike..But says its not her thing

But agreed I love every second me and the future wife get to spend on the bike, plus Im safer with her..and crazy without her!

My girlfriend loves my bike. And was glad to see my enthousiasm on the mods.
She loves the attention when WE go out for a drive. But knowing the attention it draws in whatever location. She gives me a hard time to go out for a ride on my own!

Anyone having similar problems with their spouse?

mine liked it at first, now shes jealous of all the time ive been spending with the bike, shes enjoys rides, but i dont enjjoy having her n the back, its not as fun for me and she squirms and bumps into me, im gna hafta buy her her own... but shes too lazy to go to the dmv and get a permit! so basically she just complains... its a lose lose... some people just enjoy camplainin... n it stops there.. i told her id help, id pay, and then id help buy/buy... w.e[confused]

I refuse to risk my bike. But in first place i want to keep my girlfriend in the same state! She is the best I ever met!

She will even let me go out on my own for a beer. But with my bike it is a different thing.

She is also reading all of your comments and wishes to show you her picture.
I hope that in the end she understands that we are a rare kind of drivers and let´s me drive more often without questions.

I used to ride with the solo cowl all of last year. Now that i have some more experience i took it off and always have a spare helmet on the back seat. Never know who'd like to go for a ride
