would you consider painting the drummer can black? I think that would look really good, it sticks out being silver. Get a black front fairing but get the mesh nets like on the newer airbox cover, get those in yellow around the headlights. That would look sick.

I am gonna keep the Drummer SS natural, I don't want to black the entire bike out, thats why I also left the rearset aluminum untouched. As for the air box mesh, I'm not sure what you mean. This is a 2010 and its about as new as you can get. Thanks

So I just tracked down a authentic Buell Carbon Fiber front fender, should be here within the week.
Here a few things that I will be doing to incorporate CF. Ordering from ASB by the way because the pattern matches the authentic Buell CF parts.

I agree with others, do something to offset the black rear to yellow front ratio. The carbon mods you listed sound good. I would either add yellow to the rear or black to the front just to even it out.

Ok so I got my Buell Carbon Fiber front fender mounted (will get pics up soon), Still waiting on my CF Heel Guard to get here. I am really digging the Carbon Fiber and really thinking about ordering the CF airbox cover and front fairing and just getting rid of the yellow all together. What does everyone think. I have not seen any Firebolts with Lightning tail done in CF.

I like it! I'd keep some of the yellow to keep the uniqueness of the bike. You've found a way to may yellow work on these bike where most people don't like it. I think its the "blacking out" of the rest of it that makes the yellow look just right. The CF fender balances the colors top to bottom. Good work! [up] All you need now is that pulley cover!
Your right 50dro, I don't see to many people rocking the Yellow. I think I will go with the following in Carbon Fiber from ASB Buckle Guard, Headlight Bezel's and Heel Guards just to tie in some more Carbon Fiber without over doing it. Also ever since Dynasty has posted pics of his new Baldwin seat I have been thinking about getting one done with yellow stitching. Oh yeah almost forgot as soon as I get the Firebolt seat set sold, I will be ordering the pulley cover.
