Well it has come to this, for the first time in the 4 years I've owned this bike I don't know what to do it next!! crazy I know. anyone have any good ideas, things that would help performance, and well that could be good for the bike.

heres what i have done.

-Pulley mod, S to R front end conversion, Hawk performance exhaust, tail chop, frame grips, heat shield, multiple changes in looks ( carbon fiber, ebr stickers, grips, levers, cables, etc) tail lift, and maybe more I'm forgetting.

what I know I haven't done, should I do it?

-ECM
-Breather reroute
-hidden brake caliper mod

The bike is in storage and I am just having the worst withdrawals so like past winters I'm looking to use this time to improve. so if anyone has any mods that they swear on or advice on why I should do something I haven't yet, that would be great!

You could always upgrade...

Really? That's what you took from that pic. He shows you a full exhaust that most men would die for, and you saw the pegs that I had to look for!:D

Honestly, my favorite part is how the front brake line is routed lol

Do the breather reroute. Not hard, seems to make sense(why put that hot, oily air into the intake and filter?). A little cone filter sticking out the side looks cool and you can get different color filters. Plus you can check the top end for leaks while you have the intake base off. Don't bother with a catch can, just route the house down to the muffler, add a radiator petcock on the end of the hose and leave the petcock cracked open just alittle bit. For nice looks ditch the rear pegs and belt guards. That's a nice pipe on there.

Anything from our site! ;) Crash protection is always a good thing to have and our pulley cover adds a nice touch to an XB (although I assume by "pulley mod" that you cut yours to make it your own). We can get any Twin Motorcycles part too so there are many options there as well. Let me know if we can help cure your Winter Blues! :p

50dro I do need some new sliders, ill keep that in mind. I have been thinking of the breather reroute but I haven't looked into it, it doesn't seem hard. as for the exhaust, I would like to, but I'm happy with the hawk. Money is a deciding factor as well.

Heated grips; that way you'll be able to stretch out you riding season longer, and spend less time in withdrawl! :D

Sounds good! Let us know when you're ready. [up]

The breather is super easy and rather inexpensive. I remember being intimidated by it until I just dug in. Read through the DIY, pick up the necessary parts (hose, fittings, filter and zip ties really) and dive in.

Yea I might tackle that this winter. as for the sliders, hopefully early in the new year!

I'd do some kind of ECM, whether it be EBR or a tune, that would be at the top of my list personally if I were you, some kind of breather, open airbox, and all of 5-0s products. Seems like you've done just about everything but!

I go through this every winter. Just when I say no more I get the itch for more mods. I ordered gas mask (not really a mod but who cares). Putting shorty levers on and ordering the fender eliminator. I want to do the breather reroute but like 50Dro said its kinda intimidating. Wish me luck!
