haha ok thanks man I'll look at them and see what If I can do anything with making something similar. If It can't be machined most likely I won't be able to do it, but I might be able to find a resource that can make them for me alot cheaper, I'll let you know.

I know some guys who might be able to do something but it would prolly be pretty pricey since they would have to be custom built. take a look at the buell street fighter I believe made by showyomoto. they did a single sided swing arm and It looks really similar to a triumph speed triple swing arm but flipped.

As for the Passenger pegs 12rdan, quick releases? you talking about from the tail section itself?

yeah, or maybe a whole new peg mount, 2pc with some sort of quick release to attatch/detatch the lower section.

I'll see if i can maybe rough sketch somethin to give you a visual of what i mean.

IDK? seems like i'm the only one so far interested in somethin like this, may not be worth the trouble for you.

so met with my buddy yesterday and we are working on figuring out what we might be able to do about the quick release passenger pegs. Let you know what we come up with may take a bit.

We are starting off with the axle sliders for now. I'll be getting 200 pieces to make 100 sets. anyone interested I will get prices together and let you guys know when they are done and ready for purchase. We have to test them out first on the bikes to check for proper fitment and any other changes that need to be made and then they are ready. In the mean time I will be working on coming up with drawings for the rest of the items you guys are requesting and will keep you all updated on progress. Along with the drawings I will be making molds for some different styled airbox covers out of fiberglass and eventually carbon fiber. Bar ends are in the works, bar end mirrors I will have to see about. We wont be doin any work with glass but I will see if I can find some good looking, good priced mirrors that might work and make some adapters for them or check into some shops around me to see if they could make something similar. as of right now everything is looking promising. How many of you would be interested in some axle sliders? I'm estimating for the rear set around $40. I have to see what the total cost is goin to be for machining and all so this price is a rough estimate. I will get exact pricing together hopefully by this next week so the price should be pretty good.

Make some kind of matching engine/ frame sliders for your axle sliders i have only seen maybe one set of frame sliders

+1 on Frame sliders! But not just for xb's, Make them for the Tuber guys like me! You just can't find affordable frame sliders for the tubers!

we have also discussed frame sliders as well and are working on designing some of those as well the big thing is figuring out the best place to mount them to on the xb's. We would like to develope stuff for the older buells as well just need to find someone close to us that would allow me to take measurements and look at their bike. Anyone in Wisconsin? or North Carolina?

there goin pretty good. got some solid foot pegs drawn up already just lookin to get a good cad program to have a computerized drawing of the parts. I'm workin on passenger foot pegs as well along with drawing up some axle pegs for the stunt riders who want them. Also in the works are the billet shift lever and brake levers. I was thinking about maybe tryin to design some footpegs that look like bullet casings what do you think? thought it might look pretty sick. The axle sliders I'm waiting for to get sent down to me in NC from the shop thats machining them for me. He's gona send me samples so I can test them out and see how the fitment and everything is so we know if we have to make slight changes at all and then they will be ready for sale. I'm gona get 100 sets made front and rear with lift groove in rears. I will let everyone know once they are ready to buy and I will need a list for the guys who want them. I'll also get an exact price figured out for you guys too. Like I said my goal is to bring great quality parts to you guys at an effective cost that wont brake your bank, cuz I know thats what kills me too.

I really only bumped the thread to keep interest going( for you and the rest of us).I know from experience how fast these business ideas can be forgotten and die,if they aren't sparked up once ina while.It's good to hear you're still at it.
