I keep up on the normal maintenance, synthetic oil (amsoil).  Tires were both new last year under 1k miles (pirelli scorpion sync), have not done a fork rebuild and the belt is original.

Knowing that I think you could pull 5k for it, especially if you have records to prove maintenance.

Again I vote for KEEP IT, but understand if you cant afford it. Im fortunate to have 3 bikes (see pics above) I to ride with cruiser's and metrics, as in photo i have an R6, I have taken the Uly out with a group of buddies on 6's and to there suprise im right there with them, except of course the straights.
So I love my R6 but it does have its limitations. in that it is really limited to one dicipline. your Buell when ridden well, will school most and embaress others.

Yeah, no maint records. I don't even have receipts for the oil. I worked out a deal with my buddy who races, $50 cash for a case of Amsoil. ;)

I guess I missed a question, there is a small amount of visible damage. There is a paint chip on the swingarm, and you can tell where the frame was repaired (slight dent) from when it was laid down.

yeah Buellysses that a tough one. sounds like if you sell it you'll only have about $1500 in your pocket. take your time and pay your bike off then sell it or use it as a trade in. to bad you didn't jump on the buell fire sale last year they were selling 1125cr and 1125r for $5500 out the door.

I missed an 1125CR in Jamestown ND by 30 minutes. I stopped in there on a whim, the guy had just finished filling out the paperwork. [sad]
