What's the age of the typical Buell owner?

I'm 41.5 years old, roughly...I've had my current bike (2010 XB12Ss) for 1.5 years.

I got my first bike (1982 yamaha 550) second year of college at 20...a "friend" took it out without telling me and wrapped it around a phone pole (he was OK but broken jaw & arm, and banged up a good bit.

I got another one shortly after (1986 Yamaha Maxim X) wrecked it, rebuilt it, sold it sometime later to my father-in-law who wrecked it (totaled this time - he lived but bashed his ankle pretty good.)

I went 10 or so years without one (riding bicycles instead) then got a 1999 Yamaha 650 V-Star...sold it two years later, waited a year or so and got the Buell...best bike so far...I did like that Maxim X though...and the V-Star was a great deal but still a cruiser and comparing it to the Buell, well, no comparison...can't even imagine wanting to go back to that style, although I did rent a 2009 HD Street Glide once and it was really nice.

Buell has to be the best one so far.

Just turned 29. I've had my 2004 xb12r for about 6 months. Ridden more than 5k miles this year and it's my very first bike. It's an absolute ball.

Well I seem to be in the middle here. I am 50 3/4 and am on my second Buell. I bought the first one when I was 45 as a present to myself for being able to walk again. The Buell was the only sportbike I could find at the time that I could get my leg onto the foot peg. Traded it in on a Harley but never really left and had to have another one. Got my current bike when I was 49.

My daughter just told me that you're only as old as the number of hours you're awake because when you're sleeping you're not really living! So I'm 27 now, sweet!

Just turned 42 last week and just have my 09 SS left. Probably time for a Honda GoldWing.:D

27 riding an '01 Blast.

Been on sport bikes and cruisers most of my life; from 175's to 1300's. Blast was a stepping stone to an XB-R (9 or 12), but I fell in love with it. It's like nothing else I've ever ridden, and so damn much fun!

3-1/2 years later, I'm finally looking for an XB-R again. Hoping to use tax return money for one.

Started with an 883 for my 21st Birthday put 70,000 miles on it in 5 years. Moved to a '01 Superglide for another 48,000 miles sold that to go to France two summers ago. Now at 37 I'm on an '04 XB12R. Love my Buell and as soon as my wife takes it for spin we will start the search for one of her own.

41, been riding for more than 20 years. "Back in the day" I used to race 600 Supersport, that was a bunch on money down the drain. I ran a 900RR Streetfighter before I got my XB9R, hugely fun with insane power. I just got tired of the maintenance. I want a good cornering bike that I don't have to mess with. So now I'm Buelling it and loving life.

I had a Honda Astrea Grand 100cc (Cub-style bike) since I was 15 or so. Lots of mods to make it go faster hahaha, no driving licence etc, and even no numberplate in it's late years lol. Sold it when I was 20 or so. Haven't been riding bikes since then until 1,5 year ago, when I got my used 2008 Firebolt. I am 32 now.
I wanted a firebolt since 2004 or so, when I first saw one, and when I found out that Harley had shut Buell, I thought that was my last chance to get a Firebolt in good condition. Couldn't find a new one back then, so I got this second hand. Man, I love my Buell, but there all these little things that make my swear I'll never buy a second hand bike ever again.

Started riding in my teens. A month ago got my first Buell (thrust blue '05 XB12R). I am 54.
