Wouldn't trade that bike for the world! The best riders start on the trails tho

I'm 36 turning 21 again..LOL. I was riding sports bikes when I was 16. I took a when I was 21 and th wife got pregnant. Now that my kids are older bought my XB9R about 2 monhs ago. I am thinking of getting a bagger for a second bike, being military it makes it easier than a backpack. I never rally put time in on a cruiser till I took the basic riders course here at Ft Carson. A bit different, but I kinda like it for longer rides with the wife.

Born in '57 (you do the math), been riding since the early '70's....started out trail riding. Little bikes - I'm talking Honda 70's. But we were little - not even old enough to drive yet. Myself and other boys in the neighborhood would hack trails all through the woods around where we lived. I still have a scar on my wrist where a machete I was using glanced off a branch and got me. We loved motorcross and we'd jump our bikes on small hills and stuff. I've been back and those woods are pretty much all developed into subdivisions. We also liked riding our 20" bicycles off-road motorcross style. I think we were some of the first BMX type riders a few years before there was such a thing and it caught on.

We'll I'm one of the old guys "56". Bought my Buell this year. Mid-life crisis? Mine started in 1967 with a mini bike, then a Ducati in 1968. Since then I have owned over 40. Today I have 7. Motorcycles are the fountain of youth!

38, and definitely glad I was able to find a buell. Just wish I could have grabbed one new. I am going to ride it til it falls apart.

I'm 27 and have been riding quads and dirtbikes since i was a kid, got my first streetbike when i was 18. I have only had my 03 XB9S for a few months and i love it, its so balanced and it when im in the turns it makes me feel like i can go low enough to drag my helmet on the ground. plus it gets alot of looks because its not your average jap bike.

30. Bought the 12r last summer. Did the K&N air filter, breather mod and soon to have hawk exhaust. Also have an ECMspy to do all the tuning. Easy peasy!

When I first got mine, I would bolt things back every time I got back from a ride. I lost one side reflector on the highway the first day I got the bike, and one time the bellypan ended up with only one bolt during a ride, flapping in the wind, thankfully I was a couple miles from home. Idk what the previous owner had done, but I replaced most bolts and added LocTite on some of them. Especially the gear lever bolt was replaced and loctite was used, 'cause it will come loose all the time during fast rides.

20 an less then a month from 21. On my second Buell. First was an 03 XB9S black and silver. Second and current bike is 06 XB12R black and orange/amber!!!! Love the Buells will never get rid of mine.

I'm 26, bought my first Buell (XB12s) 1 year ago, absolutely love it!....had plenty of jap bikes prior but nothing puts a smile on my face like my Buell : )

58 now, bought my XT in 09 as a new leftover. Only bike I can afford unless I hit the lotto, then I'll build a garage and fill it. Looking for a place on the bike to mount a container for my ashes, then I can keep riding in the afterlife!
