wheel fitment question

my understanding of the xb wheels is that the '03-'09 models are interchangable except on a Uly...true/false? what's the differences, 2 and 3 bearing axles?

I have a set of wheel bearings from my '04 Robin. They fell out of my old rim, and I didn't have a press or the time to swap them into the older one.

My understanding is such that they are all interchangeable, if you're willing to swap in the rear axle from a Uly, although the XB12X/XT are a heavier design with different spokes.

was curious about it after looking at Buellparts.net where it states the wheels will fit '03-'09 but not xb12x...have two sets of All Balls Racing bearings to swap out, don't have a puller to do it just yet

Pretty sure I talked to Al, and he said that they'd all swap in if I changed the axle. I can't really see how they'd differ too much, although I haven't set my hands on a Uly wheel. Only so many ways they could add a third set of bearings though.

3 bearing axles are 2010 upgrade only as far as i know. The rim, bearings, and axle are all different for the 3 bearing 2010 rim. Not interchangable. As far as 03-09 thoses are the same for all xbs from what i read. I know nothing about uly's so i can't get into what is different there. But they are an xb....? Rims are even interchangable between 1125's and xbs. Not sure on axle and bearings thougn.

It's my understanding that bearings were improved in late '09 (same as 2010) on the Uly...which mine is supposedly.
