on your helmet?

on your air box cover?

on your rear seat cover cowl thing?

someplace else?

i just picked one up and an contemplating on the best place to mount it.....

I'm also waiting on the SD card, and suction mounting bracket thing i got on ebay....

currently looking at buying one myself, what model did you get? the Hero 960 is only 161 on amazon right now, 239 for the motorsports one.

I just got it today actually. And my bike is sort of apart at the moment. Also I need to get an sd card for it. So I do no have any footage yet...

But it seems nice besides having no idea how it works haha :)

hey dave did you use the suction cup mount on the front fairing? i just bought one today and used the curved mount on the front fairing but the video came out so bouncy i couldnt watch it. also mine seems sluggish like it cant keep up going side to side.i got the new go pro hd hero and was recording in 1080.

Jrage I did read something about some sd cards working better than others online... Not sure if that's it, but if you have a dif brand sd card lying around might give that a try

Yo.. The best part about em is playin with it. (don't have one yet but been doing alot of thinkin about it). I think the best spots would be air box pointing at road and spedo. Helmet and then I was thinking about passenger peg mount. I've also seen them mounted underneath. Way cool footage from under there, just don't know if it would be possible with Buells underslung exhaust.

Mine was on my passenger foot peg when I crashed.

FYI For some reason when you eat **** and smash the go pro reaaaaalll hard it deletes the footage from that take (at least the one I use does). It happened to my roommate too when he crashed on his skate board using the go pro. It sucks because you get home and are bummed about your wreck but you're like "at least you got it on tape"..then you click on the file and it says file corrupt! NOOOOoooooooo!

I am using a class 10 pny 16gig SD card and no I haven't tried r3 I only did r5. On r5 just seemed to not keep up with the bike going side to side.

handle bar holder is not the most useful. As you will need to fiddle arount with several parts it will just become unstable.
Using it on my helmet. But still looking for a firm steering mount. Maybe another item for Dro-50. Seen a RAM-mount which replaces Brake liquid reservoir. But cannot find it anymore. Please pm me if you know where to get one.

Used a stainless tab, bolted to the bottom of the pod. I also have one on the right passenger peg bracket, along with one more on the top of my Arai.

hey dean you were recording in 1080 on the cruise is there a special setting or is it my sd card that makes it choppy like it cant keep up going from side to side.

Yeah, whatever the r5 setting is, that's what I used. According to the quick settings guide, it's 1080 @ 30 fps.

I do get the jello effect sometimes, I figure it's just the vibration, so the more solid you get it mounted, the less it does it. I don't see it as much on the rear facing mount since that's bolted right to the subframe.
