I have been reading a ton of reviews and forum pages and there is just so much that can be done with the bikes. I was going to get a pair of rear sets from woodcraft and turn signals from ASB. I want different hand grips also and am wondering where is the best place to start with performance mods i.e. best bang for your buck or must do's? Any ideas or suggestions would be excellent. I was looking into exhaust but have read mixed reviews, not sure what pipes will give you the best performance over sound.

For exhaust I'd look into a Keda RT-XB-1 you'll need to tune your bike but you'll be looking at around 10% over stock on hp and torque. He did some testing with my 9r and the air/fuel ratio was around 19.5:1. So it needs a lot of fuel. But it made 1 less hp then the race pipe.

After you decide on an exhaust you could do the open air box mod and breather reroute.

Without spending a couple grand that's about were the performance mods end.

You might want to consider rizoma for your turn signal needs, they have a wicked set that just came out for 2012. The aren't outrageously expensive either.
