I may not be as prolific of a builder as some, but there's more than 300 of mine out there somewhere. This is the latest, although I have a short list of 1190 systems to build now.

D_adams, I might be looking for something to replace the stock one on my 06 Uly. I know on the 1125 I had to match the ECM with the exhaust, is this the same for the Uly? If so, where can I get the ECM config for an exhaust?

Thanks
Jeremy

Each time I read the American Sport Bike Exhaust Shoot Out report, I come away without an answer to the question, "Which exhaust makes the most power?" Even an OEM exhaust performs on par with all the aftermarket stuff.

So answer me this: Why do we change our exhausts?

Overall the race kit tops, but others make slightly smoother and higher midrange power. For me, i love the look of the dual exits on the race and the power at the top end.

BS..... those Dyno charts are near identical. The only place you will see that difference is if you superimpose the graphs. Your "ass dyno" is not that sensitive.

Stock with interactive valve  The stock exhaust has the best aesthetics, it has jacking points, it sounds quiet, it is better for engine lifetime.

I'm not talking ass Dyno, It's from the charts.
They are very close, but the race kit is a little more at the higher RPMs but other kits smooth out the mid rpm drop better and provide more mid range punch are displayed in the graphs.
Cry BS all you want, Al put a lot of effort into delivering as objective a comparison as possible.

IDK, I'm highly skeptical of anyone that claims they can feel the difference between 2 hp for a brief moment in the RPM range.

I run Acrapovic.
Can't compare to other apart of stock - sounds awesome.
I don't count YT videos as they never give you a proper sound.
So far I met only one Buell with stock exhaust in UK.
