Last wed, Kajer and I did 160 miles at night. It was 32 pretty much the whole way. I don't want to do that again.

The other day I went for a quick ride to McDonald's. Right out of my driveway I gave it some gas and the ass end slid out. I must have panicked because I grabbed the clutch and she got wobbly as I straightened it out. That's the first time I ever lost traction on this bike. I guess once you get in the 30's the tires aren't as grippy as usual.

It was in the mid forties today, I wish I could have put some miles down.

I have rode pretty much daily up until a few days ago.. sometimes at night in the 20's.. no fun, but it was my only transportation while i was waiting for my truck to get fixed.

At least as far as i have found.. one bad thing about that cold is you really gotta be nice to your tires as they take forever to warm up in the cold, luckily I pull out of a heated garage lol

It was 28 degrees on my 26 mile ride in to work this morning, my hands got cold but otherwise I was quite comfortable!

I was commuting from springboro pa, to clarion pa about 4 to 5 times a week the last few months.. about 75 miles.. my hands would get cold as well.and my ankles lol.

Still riding in NYC, in the 40's right now. First year riding, so I plan on doing it year round and getting some experience while everyone I ride with has their bike away for the winter.

I think it might finally be time to put the bike away - it's supposed to be balls cold here in NC next week.

(I'll keep it unwrapped for the warmer days though!!)

Little warmer here today...33 where I'm leaving from, 28 at my destination. Hoping it warms up in the half hour it takes me to get there!
