Well I will start with my 82 virago because the virago forum is a bunch of d1cks here's the start

Found a sweet pic on here so decided I would kill some time. Pulled the motor painted it with some krinkle paint sanded the fins down. Found a guy that made hub adapters for Viragos to use the rear wheel up front for the more street fighter look. Then cut the nasty stock tail and built one out of rebar for a rough barn build look wrapped the pipes. Moved the controls to the rear sets. Got rid of the totally sweet stock bars and threw some dirty bars on. Found a clean speedo from dime city speed shop. I'm getting closer to being done it. can't wait for it to be done

Now to the 08 xb12ss I picked up a little while ago for a pretty good deal. it was completely stock. And I can't leave it like that Lol

Picked up a some hand guards and lower mirrors and headlight guards

Was getting sick of stock tail and so I saw blaylock tail chop and loved it. Cut it up got the same light but took the stock cheese grater cut that down put it in the brake light hole. Then used the small pieces of light left over behind the grater for back light

Powder coated the tail and pegs and levers. Traded a guy on here a race pipe for a d and d pipe . Don't really like the chin fairing so I chopped the brackets off

I still plan to polish the pipe and headers. finish up the tail with a proper license plate bracket. A new ecm hero blue plastics breather reroute more to come let me know what you think. Critics wanted

I like the virago [up] keep up the good work.

Like the Buell too, those translucent plastics are nice. I feel like If you powder coated the forks black, modded your under tail to get rid of the stock light housing and raised the tail just a tad your bike would be my dream SS Lol. Maybe an scg tail instead of the SS??

Thanks...that's the plan I think get all the left over housings and forks satin black. I just need a little more time Lol and iv also been thinking about doing the tail lift. I just haven't found any good kits. But I need to keep the longer and higher seat, being 6'4" and 230 I need to keep the bike looking bigger to avoid the Mario kart look

I understand that though. I'm 6'2 180.
I'm not too familiar with the construction of the S frame spacers but I'm pretty positive they could be fabricated with little work. They're fairly simple.

How do you like the D&D? In comparison with the other pipe?

Its fackin loud but I really like it. I kinda feel bad going to work at 5 in the morning with the neighbors but oh well. I defiantly like the look better then that huge stock can and race pipe

I like what you did with the tail light on the Buell. The Virago looks uncomfortable as hell, but looks cool.

Another thing I'm thinking about is a cowl on the seat but I'm not sold on the idea yet as the woman like to ride with it would Ned to be super easy to take on and off.

Thanks for the complements guys. Most the guys at work just shake there head and tell me the virago is a waste of time but I'm having fun with it..so who cares. I'm looking to sell it though and get a easier rider and get the woman off mine and on her own.

Well I got another project well I told the woman to go get this little beast for $200 runs but I think the stator is out and needs new seals and carbs cleaned but what do you expect for 200 its a 87 srx250. So far she hates it says its little and dumb but its the first bike so I don't care if she flops it over

The way it sits now. But I plan to strip it down to something like this one

Not sure on the red and black I would like yami blue frame and wheels the rest black but she wants green and flat black not sure yet hope to get home so I can start on it soon

well its been a long winter I got a lot done on the Yamaha 250. Powder-coated the frame the wheels and pretty much anything else I could coat. fix the dent in the tank,recovered the seat,made a custom tail with led tail light, new tires, bigger sprocket, modified the exhaust. And most important I took off every horrible piece of plastic.
If anyone wants the body let me know its decent shape .

And some how I still had enough time to get my ss closer to done as well found a kick ash air ,?box a d and d slip on, ceramic coated the header, took off most guards and shields, powder coated everything up front forks headlight thing triples. Got a factory RSS , put some blue LEDs all over the place , hid kit, flush mount blinkers on the hand guards, tail lift. And I'm sure a couple other little things but here it is now

The next wish full mods would be a cr headlight complete assembly gauge cluster and all.
If anyone has one or knows where to I would love to know.
Uly rear sets same thing , got em let me know.
Hero blue covers and blue wheel reflectors strip things

I love that angry Buell look but my plastics are translucent so I don't think it looks right.. But your bike is sweet!! Great job!
