Will an 06 XB12S swingarm fit on a 04 XB12S

I found a swing arm on ebay that looks like its in good shape(to replace the one i messed up with the touch up paint that doesnt match). The problem is that i have a 04 XB12S and its an 06 swing arm. From what i understand BUELL made some changes to it to make it stiffer, it looks like he eliminated the brace. my question is, will it fit my bike? If not does anybodey have a swingarm they want to sell me? I've also been thinking about getting an XB12Ss swingarm and getting the trail kit(i think it would look very cool with the shorter sub frame). Would the Ss swing arm fit? What do you guys think? Has anybody tried or done this before? If so, any pics?

Both swingarms will "fit". To update to the newer swingarms you need to change the oil lines also and the SS will require the shock also.

Do you think i should update to the newer swingarm or try to find the same one?

I have one I will sell you. Shoot me a far price +shipping and it is yours, I was keeping it for a back-up but wont ever use it.

I updated mine after a wreck just cause I like the look of the newer arm and it's supposed to be stiffer. It ended up pretty pricey so in retrospect I probably wouldn't have swapped it. I made it sound kind of easy. When you change the oil lines you have to swap the fitting on the oil pump and notch the sprocket cover cause the lines are routed different. I bought the lines new from HD and they were like $100 alone. The swingarm I got didn't come with the brace so I have to buy one of those too, that was only like $20 though.
