I just had a similar experience this morning however I made it to the turn out of the neighborhood and went down on my 2001 X1. I cracked the Air cleaner cover. Anyone know the best glue for repairing the crack?

Hey speaking of the cold
once i get my pipe and ecm back even if its thirty or lower out and roads are clear how much would it affect going up to 75ish or 115

Bike is in a heated shop usually around 55 degrease

Bardo, just warm your tires really well before you leave the garage. Cold tires are the #1 reason for cold weather crashes. I know [sad]

so keep it in the shop then go out and ride around really good before i go for a test run with my new filter ecm and pipe then. or get out a hair dryer and space heater lol

Seriously, I would do space heaters. You could even put the bike under a cover and aim the space heater inside it. At the track they have tire warmers, but you don't have that so you'll have to improvise. Burnouts will get your rear warm if you dont mind the tire ware.

brand new tire came wit bike from ebay [smirk] i dont like the tread pattern would rather have the perrelie or the somethin else lil burnout wouldnt hurt i guess just once[smirk]

You guys are making me nervous, a ton of snow here today and I was going to see what a Uly would do in the snow, I have discovered my Road Glide and my Sportster are both useless in the snow lol ( long story) and thought just maybe..... However I have only had the bike 2weeks and 500 miles so I am a little leary.

get knobbies. and, dont roll the dice if you cant pay the price. snow and rain are why I own a car.
