so after you install the m-lock what do you guys do about the gas cap and the seat that reqire a key to get into it.
 
you can get a keyless cap, or keep your key with you. you can also switch the seat lock so that it's more like a lever activated or pull release.
 
I don't remember what forumn I saw it on, but it's just a pull cable on the inside that the locking mechanism pulls on. There are manyways you could do it with some simple fabrication for a lever release, and reinforcement of the key hole in the plastics so that there isn't any wear if you go with a pull release.

I know this is an older thread, But.. I hooked mine up exactly like described in this thread and it isn't working. Power is coming thru the 1A fuse and bike will turn on if I bypass the relay... Not sure what I am doing wrong.. I have red with 1A fuse to M-lock, Red to 87, Black to 85, brown to 86 and REd/blk and red/gry to 30... Do I need to ad a ground wire from 85 to the bike? cause if I put red/grey with black then it will kick on for sec but then back off. PLEASE HelP!! lol btw I have a 2005 xb12r .
