I would rock it! My bike sure would take a beating though, because I would have to show all my friends and family! Put some tribal tattoos all over it and we are ready to rock!

Maybe they should make a matching product skin for the bike. To save us on repair bills. Could probably notch a few bucks off insurance.

A few problems I have with it would also be the triggering. Abrupt stops or accelerameter wise, it would kind of be funny to see someone pull a stoppie on the public road and inflate like a raft and then fight to climb out of that thing while everyone snapping pictures with their phones.

A group ride would suck if someone goes down in front, everyone grabs a ton of brake and it looks like someone spilled a giant can of cheetos all over the tail of the dragon.

If it goes off when you lowside, won't it launch you up into the air? Then, depending on how fast it deflates, it might not have any air in it by the time you land.

Honestly, he would roll like a mile before stopping if that really happened, that almost seems more dangerous than the impact. What if you rolled into oncoming traffic, or down a cliff lol!

I'll say clever idea, but REALLY impractical, and kind of funny!

It is a great idea. I would wear it at times. Hopefully the price would drop low enough to make it affordable for the average joe.

Anyone else get hit with a fear of rolling out to sea then drowning watching that?? Its ridiculous. I still dont really trust the dainese and alpinestars ones used in motogp. I mean a padded impact is good but explosive burst inside your leathers just doesnt give me confidence.

But seriously, this does represent an advancement regarding safety technology for riders, and a good first prototype at the least. I think the idea has a future.
