Not really Chicken. Always gap your plugs. Always. It isn't a matter of personal preference.

The problem is the assumption that what comes out of the box is always correct.

I know for a fact I've checked the gap on pre-gapped plugs that weren't the same. Nice work on the custom bike, it looks much cooler imo!

Actually Cooter, you are wrong. Every single new plug out of the box is gapped...it just not be the right gap for your (our) application. Sorry, I had to do it. This thread is way too serious.
 
You gotta have the right spark in between your gap in relation to the box:

I agree with chicknstrip. The threads are the same

Yes a spark plug should be gapped and you should use amsoil. Case closed!
