WTB race ecm for 2003 xb9r

Buellxb Forum

Help Support Buellxb Forum:

Here we go...
Do you have aftermarket exhaust? If so, what kind? Do you have a high flow air filter? Intake mods?

That info will help someone supply you with the correct part.

Alternatively:

You can buy a 'race' ECM from EBR directly or IDSpeed ($300)

You can PM AZMidget and he can get the correct program installed on your ECM for you ($100)

You can get a Bluetooth dongle and then usually find the correct program from a place like Buelltooth.com (for free) and do it yourself.

If you really want to buy a race ECM, why are you here?

Check the Buell parts for sale section or eBay.

If you find something you have questions about then post those questions. Or PM someone that's selling said race ECM on the forum.

I'm tempted to ask how hard you're really looking....
But I won't be that guy.

Already checked. That's why I posted this--obviously if I can find one at half the price that's a better deal. And, to answer cooter, I have a Beson race exhaust and a drummer exhaust, air box mod, breather reroute, k&n air filter. .......I just want a race ecm that I can plug in for the time being seeing-- since it will give more fuel--while I dial in my stock ecm. Then, I will have an ecm for each exhaust. I hope that makes things clear for those who actually have said ecm for sale. Thanks for all the help so far :) And since you don't wanna be that guy, then I won't be the guy that asks why you even replied if the last person already said the same thing. ......do you need to feel validated? Sorry if I bothered your forum surfing. Save yourself a heart attack and don't read my threads. Once again, thanks cooter. All I'm asking is if someone has a race ecm for 03-04 xb9 for sale. What I do with it is irrelevant lol

Look, take a chill pill buddy.
Cooter and I posted at the same time.
BTW had you posted all the information you just posted I wouldn't have said a word.
Your lack of info led me to believe you hadn't searched a thing.
I guess I was wrong in my assumption. I do apologize.
I'm sure you've heard it before, information is power. The more you give the more assistance you'll get and in turn it will make this thread that much more helpful to the next guy looking for a race ECM.

BTW Cooter's usually that guy. You must have caught him in a good mood.

Good luck with the ECM and tuning. He gave you some great suggestions.
Oh, also try www.buellmods.com for race maps and service manual.

I do not but they were the loudest available for our bikes. I offered that guy $150 because it was missing the rest of it and he shot me down.

I guess you haven't had much luck with your original idea?

I know you can find ECMs for about $150 on eBay. That's the average price for a stock ECM. You can use ECMspy, tunerpro or ECMdroid to load your own race map to it.

Places where these here maps can be found and the people that can help you with programming have already been posted.
I could repeat what's already been stated in this thread but then that would be repetitive and redundant. I mean honestly, what do senior members of this forum know about Buells, ECMs or tuning said ECMs?????

Rhetoric?
Now that's rhetoric
