x1 ghost problem

Hi all. I have a 2002 x1, that randomly flickers engine check light then dies. I can not hear the fuel pump prime on attempted restart. Some times this happens every couple of mins some times can ride for hours/ days and not have a problem.
I have by passed side stand switch, ignition swich. Replaced fuel pump and regulator, replaced all fuses and relays. And ecmspy shows no fault codes.
Any help or info would be greatly appreciated.

My first thought was kick stand switch. Like crash said... check grounds. I had one break on me. It was the main one under the seat.

The first time my ignition switch acted up was 50 miles from home. Bike would turn over for a sec then quit trying to start along with the dash lights going out. Back of switch felt hot when wiggleing the wires behind it but started up and made it home. replaced switch and hasn:t acted up again.

I have had problems with my kill switch shorting out. Sometimes the bike will just die while riding if i cycle the kill switch a few times it will usually start back up. I know its my kill switch because if I cycle the switch with the bike not running but the key on the tach needle will jump slightly.

Hi guys. Thanks for all the imput. I bypassed the ignition switch and used contact cleaner on all the plugs fuses and relays. And its been running fine for the 1000+kms I did over the Christmas/ new year holiday.
