Hey, new to site, thought I would post a pick of my bike heaps have already done it but I have almost completed wheel conversion amongst other things, using stock suspension, bit more machining to go and new braided line to make and should be ready to roll.

Wow that's beautiful. You just inspired me to buy an ebr front rotor.

What all is involved in the conversion? Is there a kit to adapt the wheel and larger rotor to X1 forks or do you need to get XB forks? What changes (if any) need to be made for the rear wheels to work? Thanks!

the easiest way is xb forks for the front. The rear requires spacers for the wheels and machining of the brake caliper bracket.

If you send me a set of XB triples, your old lower triple with stem, and rear brake bracket- i can modify them all and supply rear spacers to make everything bolt on. Of course you will also need XB wheels, front rotor, rear rotor, and front caliper.

one of the tricky parts is the rear pulley. You can use a stock XB pulley but its going to mess with your gearing, or you will need to take your stock pulley (have the 5 bolt holes welded closed) and then redrill to the XB bolt pattern, or use my conversion XB pulley.

In doing the wheel conversion, how complicated would that make doing a chain conversion as well? My goals are around 120-130hp and I've read the belts are good to about 120hp.

The chain conversion would make things simpler, as far setting your ratio to whatever you need/want.

Im not a fan of chains, but if its needed, its needed. EricZ made a custom cush drive for his chain setup-
