Searched and couldn't find, if this already exists, sorry.

Does anyone have experience with the XB Lights LED Tail Light assembly. I was looking at the one with the intergrated turn signals. I think they call it option #5 and #6. Seems like I could clean up the rear a little by removing singals. Just trying to see how they held up, how easy to install, etc.

Thx

I have the Option 6 lights.

Work perfectly, install couldn't be easier, hold up just fine.

The product is quality.

Ditto, have option 6, it's just plug and play, couldn't be easier. And well worth the money!

thanks
saw something similar on ebay for half that price, but I'm all about paying for no headaches.

I have the full grid, not sure what option that is but its a great light and he stands by his product.

not to mention wicked bright.

go for the xblight. i have option 6 and couldnt be happier with it. complete plug and play.

plus the customer service is top notch. option 6 was on backorder when i ordered mine but he sent me one that he had with a very small almost unnoticeable scratch on the lens. with it he sent $20 dollars and a letter saying i could either keep the light and the money or put the defective light on and use it until he was able to ship me a new one.

how often do you hear of a company doing that!?

yeah at first i wanted to do led strips down the sides of the tail but now im more concerned on brightest to be seen you know? they look real good. any problems? easy installation? or did you need a resistor

very easy, unscrew the two screws on your taillight then unplug the three wires from your current tail light to the XB light.

no resistor needed

no problems to date and I have ridden in the rain (sometimes more like a monsoon) humidity super hot days cold days (not too cold I am a wimp only about 40F)
probably 3k miles on mine so far.

I have the Ebay specials with integrated turn signals for $79, and I have had it for 3 years and never once had an issue with it.[up]

those cheap ebay specials (Clear Alternatives) are not very bright and have no safety circuitry.

just junk in my book.

True, but they are bright enough to be seen that is for sure as I have never had anyone tell me they couldnt see the light, only complaint I have gotten is that since the whole unit is all in one small area it is hard to tell if the right or left blinker is on when I am turning. But as long as people can see it blinking they will at least slow down[smirk]

As far as special circuitry, not sure if you really need it for anything, like I mentioned had mine for 3 yrs and not one problem.........

I guess it comes to where and how you want to spend your cash. The integrated light was literally my first mod for my first bike and I had it on my bike before I even had my cycle endorsement. As it has lasted I have not felt the need to upgrade it or replace it[up]

[up]i hear you. i'm just going with the brightest thing though cause i'm more concerned about definitely being seen. anyone have option 6 and same problem, can't see the turn signals

I like to have my signals separate, it doesn't look as clean but is more visible IMO

with poo setups there isn't enough light coming from the integrated

with the good ones the taillight washes out the blinkers

even some cars are hard to see the turn signals because the headlights wash out the signal.

but
YMMV

yeah i hear you but the bug eyes are so annoying cause i have a small self storage garage and they always hit the side (my brother and i have a small garage to fit both) i was going to do leds down the tail but i dont know yet

I just want a red translucent undertail so I can back light that and have one big ads brake light!!!! :D
