XB12 Firebolt

I am looking at an XB12 Firebolt. I love the uncommon look and sound. But I've never ridden one. Also...the right side looks cool and sexy, but the left side looks...yuck.
Any comments on ride performance and mods for left side to sleek it up?

unlike H-D small and big twins and V-rods...i always thought the look of all the XB models including the bolt were reasonably symetrical. by that i mean if you look at H-D models and Jap cruisers most all have some sort of air cleaner device and exhaust headers/mufflers on the right side to mimic H-D cruisers. they have virtually no motor ancillary parts on the left lending themselves to somewhat of an asymetrical look IMO. personally i think the large primary cover on the left balances out the belt and its cover on the right side of all XB's giving them a nicely balanced appearance from either side.....but that's me.

I'm with John and I like all xb models but here is my bike hope it changes your mind.

Last one is with new seat and a couple of doodads.
