XB12 & XB9

Hello everyone,

I have a question for you all - don't bother if you haven't taken a single Buell to pieces or don't have other experience to it.

I have a situation where I should replace the crankshaft to a Buell XB12 and I can only find the crankshafts (the complete assemblies naturally, flywheel, connecting rods & the crankshaft itself) from online.

Since I don't want to have a divorce, the only option is to buy an assembly secondhanded - and that's actually all I need too, since my turbocharged Buell is already running some decent parts in that sense. I just need the freaking crankshaft.

Now - does ANYBODY know if the XB9 (Firebolt or lightning) flywheel assembly has the same crankshaft than the XB12 one's?

I have a xb12 crank that i might be selling IF i sell my 9s but should have a good idea of what up with it.

So nemoxb, what price would we see the xb12 crank going at?

And if you mean the original damages on the crankshaft, it's just the "threads" on the primary drive side. Tried to weld it back in shape, but naturally it didn't hold - so now I have to take the bike apart again just to get a new crankshaft in there.

If your in the US ill sell it for $425 shipped thats what i paid. I just got it off ebay a few weeks ago. But need to see whats going in with getting another bike.
