Anyone have any fitment advice on the Buell Belly Pan Kit L5000.1AH working with a Jardine Exhaust on an XB12R? I am looking to buy both, but I am not sure what to expect. Don't want to do a whole lot of cutting and fabricating to make it all work. I really like the lines of the stock exhaust and don't particularly care for the way the aftermarket exhausts lose them near the chin so that’s why I am hoping a belly pan might give it back some of the lost details. Yes, I know about the special ops pipes and the drummers. I just like the pricing and availability of the Jardines a lot more here in the states. ;)

Here is the link to the Buell parts catalog I am seeing the belly pan in:

I would think all you would have to do is drill holes to correspond to existing mounting holes on the stock chin fairing. Then just trim for the pipes outlet. Seems pretty simple. I will get one once i finish my lightning to firebolt front swap.

the belly is uncut, you have to put the holes in and cut to fit. Kickstand, exhaust ports .....trim a little here little more here until your good. I had an old race fairing from another bike that I messed up because I was in a hurry. Small cuts[smirk]

My experience level working with fiberglass body panels is at Zero. What should I use to make the cuts? Trace out the lines/cuts in pencil then use a Dremel and a cut-off wheel?
